77042 here. Power came on at 1 am and just went back off right now. Got the place heated up at least to 68 though.

New issue is that the water pressure is now minimal.

77459. No power for 26 hours now. I should not be surprised because apparently Sienna is a severe storm's wet dream.....power grid issues, failing water pumps for floods, etc. Have to drive to hwy 6 and use my trucks hot spot to get emails/internet.
77459 north of 6 hasn't lost power yet. also maybe check your breaker box, centerpoint doesn't show any outages there?
Almost all of Sienna south of Bees Creek is without power.....I guess 5,000 people just need to check their breaker.

You could try to not be a dick and offer helpful information only. This situation sucks for so many people. We don't need this kind of crap.
I think everyone is on edge to some degree and people have different coping mechanisms. How about some photoshopped Gina Carano pics for the time being?

Power back on in 77386. Have been without since 2:30am Monday. House was 46 this morning and generator decided it was too cold last night at 1am and turned off.

Sinks are at about 40-50% flow but shower is almost nothing...hoping this isn't an issue within our home.

Pressure issues in 77079 as well. My guess is loss of power to pump stations is the primary issue.

Yep. 77042 here. Power came on in the middle of the night and just went out again about 30 minutes ago. Need to go find some more fire wood

77493 - still no power since 2 a.m. Monday morning. Sprinkler back flow valve blew yesterday afternoon, other than that water has been fine in the house with dripping faucets and occasionally full opening to check pressures.

Edit: just got power back at 11:40, trying to charge stuff and get the house back to a reasonable temp before we lose it again.

No power in 77004 since 7am

Kitchen Faucet pipes frozen. It has now near freezing in the house for at least 12 hours. Probably more.

Im afraid to even look at my child's fish tank. We wrapped a blanket around it yesterday. Parents, neighbors, friends all without power, so nowhere really to go.

That's great news. I'm in 77493 over near Katy High, and we're still dead. Hopefully we get the power soon too.

In laws near Mayde creek high school just got their power back. Had been out since 2 am Monday. They were getting ready to head to our house.

Just heard that they are trying to restore power in order that it was lost (good luck).

So if you lost power today, as I did, it could be as late as thursday before power is back.

Power back on after 34 hrs and 14 min.

77433. Fairfield, Inwood Park.

House was 53 deg.

Where did you hear that from? It seems reasonable to me as someone who didn't have power and woke up to the house at 38 degrees this morning, but I'm obviously biased.

ERCOT had a message out this morning along the lines of restoring power first to those for whom it had been out the longest.

Makes sense since ours turned on soon after the message. For how long it stays on I do not know.

I'm approaching 36 hours and was one of the first to lose it. Houses around me had it restored yesterday around 5 pm. We are still out.

Looking at centerpoint's outage tracker shows that our area has the "repair" outage indicator, not the regular triangle outage. Hoping that means that they're working through needed repairs and get everyone up and running again.

My mom had been without power in Katy since 2am yesterday and got it back around 11am today. Hope the rest of y'all who've been without for an extended time get it back soon!

Got it back in Cypress as well. It was 44 degrees in my house.

My kids were still carrying on like nothing was happening. It was driving me mad.

Our water pressure just went to crap in the 77406. Sounds like it's all around us though. Neighborhood has had power whole time though so not really complaining. Plus tech water is still on for now.

The house was 56 degrees at the lowest, but I avoided opening the front door except for one time to check the pipe wraps. About to go enjoy the sun rays and dream about the 60 degree weather this weekend

Damn, that sucks. We haven't had water in the house since Sunday night. I've been able to get the hose bib attached to the main ingress line working by pouring warm water over it (thank you gas stove) but there must still be ice further downstream where it goes into our garage. I'm nervous as hell that something in there is ruptured.

Though we do have PEX, which is supposed to be a little better for handling freezes without bursting.

Our water pressure keeps dropping in 77077. Don't think it's our line, I think the city can't keep pressure up. Decided to close the meter and drain as much as I can after hearing all the frozen pipe horror stories.

the mayor has been tweeting that pressure is low and they are working on it. Up to you how you actually want to handle it. I lived in 77077 before/during harvey and moved because of noticeable changes in reliability for water and power. Not sure if you still deal with that.

So my mom got power back in Fairfield estates, but now her furnace and fireplace turned off, as there is apparently a gas shortage

Is Centerpoint actually doing rolling outages now? I notice their outage map now shows the planned outages separately where they weren't before. For example lots of old katy had been out for 24 hours and now they're back, but areas southeast of 99/10 are now showing a planned outage and weren't out before. This is the only area I've been watching so idk if that's coincidence

Right at the 36 hour mark, power came on for maybe 2 minutes in 77065, then went back off. I guess we are on the 36 hour off, 2 minute on rolling schedule.

If you have a neighbor with water, and have some hoses that aren't frozen, run a hose to their house and connect with a washer hose.

Tuesday 3pm

Centerpoint still below 50% (of customers with power)
