No, it is for a family member

I recommend an Au Pair If they have an extra bedroom in their house. We have one and been good experience so far and much cheaper than a nanny.

She gets an hour off for lunch M-Th, and has flexibility to go take tests at the JUCO when needed. The daycare was only paying her $7.50/hr, her rate comes out to $8.55/hr.Sazerac said:
$7.75/hr is almost criminal
Give the poor lady a huge raise
How do you figure? She's not a W-2 or 1099 employee...we pay her cash.Diggity said:
you'll have to double that wage if Biden gets his way.
There's nothing wrong with paying cash for things. Are you above board with your lawn maintenance guy?Diggity said:
sorry, assumed you were above board on this one. My mistake
What nanny?Diggity said:
check with the IRS about that. You'll probably be fine if you never run for office.

People pay nanny's above board?
LOL. My lawn guy does the entire neighborhood it seems like and he screenshots me an "invoice" via text that looks formal but a round number for me to pay him.Diggity said:

That sounds like a fantastic trade...do it!Ferris Wheel Allstar said:

Slave labor? Hardly. Its above minimum wage, she has job flexibility, and she's in school. Its not her lifetime job...move on.Diggity said:
you do you my friend.
I just think it's funny to brag on a message board about how I pay slave labor dollars to my kid's nanny but I don't report her income, so she's coming out on top somehow.
