ok, so i'm not one for getting on message boards to discuss the results of my meat smokings, but i gotta tell you, these fajitas were something else....i've messed up my share of meat over the past few decades, but these were insanely off the charts......cut so thin that they were done in less than 10 or 12 minutes on direct heat......marinated in oil, butter, and who knows what else......so perfectly pre-prepared that they were impossible to screw up......

best fajita meat i have ever cooked......let my Longhorn neighbor and Lumberjack neighbor have a pull or two....they're sold.....

Damn it, now Im gonna have to go make a run tomorrow for some more, haha. Glad you liked them. That's about the same amount of time I cooked them for, about 10 min, roughly 5 per side.

Pretty sure I cleaned them out tonight. May want to give them a minute to catch up tomorrow.

Just picked up a few lbs for dinner. This place is legit.

That Vato speaks English he just will not in that store. It's not for whitey. My Mexican wife takes me into La Michiocana often for their fajitas. They will speak to her but not me. I speak much more Spanish so I get a smile when I answer for her.

I asked what they marinated them in and the guy behind the counter stared at me like I was speaking a different language. . The lady behind the counter said they used salt, pepper, garlic and some oil.

Cooked three pounds and they disappeared fast. I only got one serving for myself. Got rave reviews on taste and tenderness.

Will be going back to the store for more.

At my wife's request I picked up another 3.5 lbs today, and cooked half of it. It wasn't as tender as the first time we tried it for some reason, but still tasted good.

Picked up 1.5 lbs today. Good stuff.

Legit. Got 4 lbs of the blancas for us. Leftovers were great to mix into migas this morning. Not cheap though. Was roughly 9.50/lb. I didn't pay full attention for exact figures.

Was at HEB today and beef fajitas were at 7.99LB. Not a bad deal if you walk away with a superior product.

I drove up there yesterday and picked up 2lbs. Planning to grill tomorrow. I hope they are as good as originally advertised.

My Mexican uncle in law got some red fajitas on my recommendation to cook for his family and mine today said it was way better than other places he's been.

They were doubtful of my gringo recommendation but were impressed .

Wife chopped up the leftovers and made fajita omelets this morning. Muy bueno.

My brother came to visit from Mexico during Memorial weekend and we decided to try it. These fajitas are legit!! He was impressed and said they were better than the ones he gets in Mexico. We went back and he got 6 pounds and took it back with him(lives in the border).
Although price is a little too expensive compared to La Michoacana, I think the price difference is worth it.

Wicho, that is high praise if he thinks they are better than what he can get on the border. I would love to know exactly what they are marinating them in, some type of meat tenderizering powder has got to be in the mix you'd think.

We are also trying to figure out the marinate as well. It is quite different than the white marinate from La Michoacana.

They posted a special for this weekend on Facebook. $65 for 5 lbs fajitas, 1lb sausage, 5 lbs chicken leg quarters, 1 bag charcoal, 1 package tortillas.

Looks like they have reduced the package price to $60 today
