Until covid, it is almost certainly the understanding of almost all people that vaccines were supposed to prevent infection from the disease they are for. It is just unfatbomable to me that all of the sudden we have all had it wrong this whole time.

I agree that it's garbage when it comes from the city or county, but hospitals do consistent testing of a much more random sampling, so it's more meaningful. Seems to support the idea that we may have already hit our peak.
