We got an email from the superintendent about this today. No details at all, other than to say the victim was a "former student" and the teacher has been dismissed. I was thinking it was a student who graduated. Looks like I was way off.

I just noticed the CCISD teacher's attorney is Chris Tritico...the dude he answers legal questions on Ch26 news in the morning.

I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'
Chris does a lot of school law and is a good dude. He also recently and very tragically lost his 32 year old daughter in a random Florida shooting.
