Yeah, getting home Friday was a cluster****. I was on the 59 HOV lane over the river about to exit when all of this apparently happened. We sat there and didn't move for a good half hour. My mom then called me to let me know that the lights were out at Kingwood Dr and 59, so I decided I'd cut through Lowe's and go down Hamblen. Forrest Cove looked like a war zone and I didn't get to my house until almost 7 (was sitting on the HOV lane around 4:30). Our neighborhood didn't look like anything happened (no limbs, leaves, etc) but we did lose power as the generator was going when I got home. It also went out for a few hours Friday night.94chem said:
Had a nice tornado in Kingwood. Looked like a healthy F1 or F2, and power is still out in my neighborhood in places. Heard there was a water spout on Lake Houston, but I don't have a pic of that one.
Crossing fingers that I only lost my starter in the HEB parking lot.aTm2004 said:Yeah, getting home Friday was a cluster****. The Wife is in Kings Point unsure how she's going to get to Woodland Hills to pick up our daughter - she said it's really bad.sts7049 said:

I'm in the Memorial City Mall area, it looks bad all around, but not bad here.

Time to rename Kingwood from "The Liveable Forest" to the "Upper-middle Class 100 Year Floodplain"
