I think most people aren't assuming bad things because of race. Anyone driving around on the weekend at 7 am is up to no good, especially with children in the car. It's definitely drug related eye roll / SMH
I'm glad the two Bstards we're caught - iconic that suspect #2 was in jail Saturday for drug charges and the first suspect got busted with drugs at the traffic stop. Such winners all the way around.

There's some fair criticism here, and I deserve some of it.
For me, I was upset initially that this looked like a hate crime. I do think there is such a thing as institutional racism, real bias (though not necessarily malicious) in how cops treat blacks, etc. I'm no bleeding heart liberal but I think there are real issues that should be dealt with.
However, when the real story was so wildly different than what had been portrayed it is natural to ask why and wonder if there are nefarious reasons. It was jarring. I did also wonder about their location so far from home on a coffee errand.
But you're right - hopefully this is just an honest case of mistaken identity and they were innocent victims.

Wow. I can't imagine why anybody would ever think the mom was buying drugs. Must just be racists because she was black.
W&J talked about this on the radio this morning. Apparently mommy knew one (possibly both) of the shooters - were friends on facebook and everything. The morning of the shooting, she took the time after the shooting to go to her facebook page and unfriend him and try to scrub any evidence of a connection.
Not sure if this is their theory or not, but it was supposedly a drug by where momma decided to drive off without paying, and they shot not knowing she had a car full of kids with her.

If all of that proves to be true, Q10, his type, and the media will be sure to not pay attention to those details as hard as possible when this goes to trial.

The Sheriff was on TV this weekend explaining it.
It was a mistaken identity. The killers thought it was someone they got into a fight with at a club the night before. The Police found the mom to be innocent of any wrongdoing. Shaun King, as repugnant as he is, was the source of the tip that lead to capture of the killers.
