I dropped it back in November, and it took them four months to replace the crown and dial.

Oof! That's a bummer. Any chance they did it under warranty?

They covered it. Just was without it for a long time.

I've got a Conquest GMT on rubber that I use as my beach watch, and if anything ever happens to it I'll probably replace it with the blue Hydroconquest on rubber.

I'm in Vegas, baby! Not really in watch buying mode as the house (new roof) is now wearing my formerly discretionary budget. There are multiple Rolex dealers up and down the Strip. With so much of their customer base being transitory, they may not be able to require watch buyers to make other purchases as some other locales. Anybody bought a Rolex in Vegas? How did it go?

I walked into two boutiques last time I was there, and neither had anything for sale when I asked.

You would think, but no. That's not really the case.

I was there last weekend. It's mostly only $50k watches they have for sale. They had a couple presidential platinums and rose gold skydweller. After talking with one guy for a bit and trying a couple watches on he told me he had a 41mm date just in the back if I was interested.
