Marathon is proud of their bracelets and straps. Also, this a reissue of the original SAR from about 25 years ago (the SAR predated the GSAR).

Yes, it's the watch thread. This is known. It's just funny that it has essentially become the Omega Speedmaster watch thread because that watch basically accounts for 75% of the posts on here. It's become comical.

vendor for watch on chrono24 is 'watch vault' in Houston. Wanted to see watch in person before reaching out to FTAC and stopped by. It's on Richmond. The entire building is full of jewelers/watch retailers. 6 or so floors with 2-3 jewelers on each floor.

Sketchy af vibe, but I'd probably have the same vibe at Hal Martins if not for people saying it's legit before I ever entered. The building is secured with HPD officer (not private security). Have to scan ID to enter. The prices aren't at a price-point of 'obvious scam.'

people on the board know anything about Watch Vault or the retailers in general in that building? sorry if already discussed. I'll try to use FTAC for purchases regardless, but might be another place to go browse other than Zadoks...(edit: in addition to zadok)

Sorry wasn't clear. I do go to Zadoks. I don't live in Houston and probably stop by Zadoks on most trips…..one of the workers is an Ag. More places to browse not a bad thing. If happen to see something good, be nice to know more about the place (like for example Hal martins. I got a Rolex there and probably wouldn't have had I not read that they are legit)

That's a pretty famous local institution. Lots of folks on here have bought diamonds from there over the years.

I bought a watch from Watch Vault through C24 with no issues. I still browse C24 from time to time, but I'm content to buy through FTAC if he can source what I want.
