K. Whaley (sp) on CBS is not "vapid". She's a Rice grad and her family is/was part of Haynes/Whaley, one of the Tine's most prominent architecture firms. She'll probably become a fulltime anchor someday..She's cute, not really sexy. Pretty sharp.

You just have to know where to find them. My wife works with the media a lot so most of the events we go to they are always there. Great for eye candy, terrible for when your wife gets a few drinks and decides she wants to go hunt one down and tell her that her husband has a huge crush on her and asks if she'd take a picture with me.

I'm going to slightly disagree with this, as I don't find it entirely true. Much like in the airline industry where the premium more desired routes are staffed by old hag flight attendants, it seems a lot of the big city news teams are filled with lifers who have already put in their time elsewhere. Seems like the medium cities "get 'em while they're hot."

1. Your hotties typically lack TALENT, except a few. Short careers or Triple-A lifers.

2. How 'bout we get back on point, i.e., "Houston" forum, Reyna-thread...
