Don't worry, a huge gush usually doesn't happen!

I won't go into the details of mine because I'm sure no one wants to hear that, but the first time it was broken in the hospital and the second time it broke in the middle of the night. It wasn't a huge gush.

I did love how I showed up at the hospital and they were trying to get me to sit on the cloth bench that they reserve for laboring moms. I was like "I don't think that's a good idea." They totally did not believe me that my water had broken. Yes thank you, I'm 100% sure I did not pee on myself.

wife had 4 kids and the amount of gush was different each time. 3 of them happened at the hospital or was barely noticeable. Baby #3 though left a huge mess in our bed.

just be sure you got a mattress pad and like someone else said, have plenty of towels on hand throughout the house.

When are y'all due? I got some time my wife's not due till the end of Aug, so right now I'm not really trying to think about the whole "birthing" part.

Right now I'm worried about how the hell I could be put in charge or raising a girl.

we WERE due the 29th, but have been told she'll be lucky to make it til the 15th....

we WERE due May 10.. but as of yesterday's appointment we are now expecting late April.

Just about everyone we know is having a girl... but I am having a boy. So I guess my son will have plenty of choices at A&M.

I'm so excited for everyone! Makes me want to have one more. I always kept towels in the car. Since the first contraction to time the baby came out was always an hour and a half OR LESS ...I always prepared to give birth on the highway.
