I remember in the early 80s it was going in on Lake Travis just outside of Austin.
In this economy I don't see it. But maybe you undertake such a project in a down economy when it is cheaper to do.
Houston is one of the more logical places if Disney does build a 3rd US park. Weather is about the same as Orlando, port close by for bringing in equipment and for the Disney cruise line, 2 airports including an international one with lots of Latin America being served from, large international community in Houston, crossroads of an east-west interstate with a north-south interstate close to the middle between the existing parks putting most Americans w/i a 2 day drive of a Disney park, 4 million people w/i an hour's drive, 11-12 million w/i a 3-4 hour drive, plenty of inexpensive water available, employment at will state, ~100,000 college kids within 4 hour's drive for summer staffing plus internships, and so forth.
