- The SEC Spring Meetings are the most overhyped event. I went down there last year, and I said I’ll probably never go again. For those who don’t know, we get the coaches down there. We get the athletic directors down there. They go to a room you’re not allowed in. They may or may not answer your questions as they walk out the door. That’s what you get for four days.
