Uh, there is an 18-20 shake joint called HeartBreakers I believe, if it is still open. I don't know any Rumors or Scandals. And if its by a highway its probably sketchy to begin with. If something bad goes down you can just book it to Houston or Louisiana that much faster.

I went to Star Bar when I was there back in November for a buddy's wedding. I didn't think it was too bad. There was a Girls Gone Wild bus parked out in front of it, but never saw any teet flashing or cameras. Didn't like their shuffleboard table either....that mofo is too long.

Yeah I know where you are talking about, it used to be a Steak n Ale back in the day but its been like 10 different things since then. It's either closed or something new is opening everytime I notice it.

I noticed the same thing about that place. It's a different establishment each time I go by it. I agree with a statement made on the Gulf Coast board. All those hot chicks from Lumberton are crazy...almost psychotic. To have so many hot women you would think that somewhere in the masses would be one that is normal.

I think Beaumont has a niche for places that are a revolving door for new restaurants. They should pimp that in the visitor's bureau, "Come to Beaumont, if you've got a crappy business plan and a recipe box, we've got a location you can use for six months."

I didn't say that about all Beaumont females, merely the ones that I know, that I went to school with or knew from when I lived there that still go out there frequently. That doesn't account for the tens of thousands of females in the city. Obviously there are always exceptions to every rule. Do you honestly not think that some of the other females that you see out there on a regular basis fall into my description? If so, maybe the place has changed.

When Super Dave wrote that at a general FYI I thought it was hilarious for some reason. I grew up in Beaumont so I'm allowed to make fun of the women there.
