Both Corby and Dave tend to be cringe with Klatt too. Not sure if they are intimidated or what. I heard Dave jump on an interview with someone big in the sports world recently and he asked a great question that really got the convo going. Corby can do that too but both seem to be hit or giant Miss types of interviews.

We've been to those restaurants more than once and they're fantastic. Reverse happy hour steaks with great drinks.

Proud dad moment last Friday. Dropping my elementary-school-age son off at summer camp, and we're jamming Muse in the News. Like any normal P1, I have spoken out loud or introduced my family to Ticket Drops all the time.
As Gordon asked what in our fridges was silently killing us, Jub and Junes struggled to come up with an answer. They said lettuce, milk, then from the back seat my son goes, "What about Eggs?!?" Then Gordon, not a half a second later, goes, What about Eggs? Then they hit the drop. You would have thought the two of us won the lottery; we were going insane driving down the road.
The Ticket's still real to me damnit!!

I used to, without even realizing it, say "what about eggs?" around the house. Apparently I was saying it enough that my wife picked up on it and started doing it too. But she, in that adorable 'bless her heart' wife way, mangled it into "How about those eggs?!"

I don't listen enough to get tired of camp talk or nfl so I don't mind at all. To me it signals football is here plus these yahoos always have wild stories about going out. Glad they are going to the media party because that's good for something wheels off.
Yeah the multiple interviews are a bit of a beating but they also have several segments of mixing shows which is always good. Much much better than dry dock
Oxnard is greatness. Was better with BaD Radio for sure. Still a good week though.

Dan and Jake have relationships with all of them but I'm not sure that every person is really a good buddy with everyone else.
DZ seems to avoid direct confrontation so my guess is they intentionally pick a different week so as to not egg on fans or start anything. They talk bad about Cat plenty but don't want to cause conflict with the hosts. That's just my read on it though, there are probably others who have more info.

I do too. I enjoy the random stories.
I agree, missing them is intentional.
It's the same predictably stale content every year. The only player interviews that will have any redeeming value are the ones that Corby, Gordo, and possibly Dave will do. The rest of the Cowboys segments/opinions, except possibly from Craig, will be nothing but sunshine pumping I intentionally avoid by not listening to the guys over on Jerry's paid mouth piece station.
