I find it hard to believe these guys don't get paid for extra time. It's probably $50-$100/day. I'm sure they are happy to get behind the mic but they aren't going to do it for free because if they say "no, I'm busy" then the station has to pay someone to fill in, no point in doing anything for free.

I thought I remembered Jake talking about his fill in time for the musers was a big part of his annual compensation.... maybe I am not remembering correctly. But that would tell me they definitely get a bump in pay when they fill in.


Yea I seem to recall multiple hosts talking about how filling in has helped to pay extra bills or provide some breathing room.

Yea I think Bob and corby are actually a great combo. It's rough if either of them are gone. Dave has some moments but overall not a huge fan. Do like him better than Danny though. Just wish it was sirois.

Recycled cowboys segments and it also means dashboard bashing college football talk about how the big 12, Ohio state and the sips are a notch above everyone else along with a once a month of an incorrect point of the Aggies. Maybe they will give Bob more college ball air time but he has to always battle dumb & dumber as his co-hosts.

I've always wondered why they make them do the same segments. I get it's nice to tune in at 7:15 and hear a non sports segment, but you can't make a normal dude do an 8:40 bit for a week straight. That's straight torture for 99% of broadcasters - even great ones. Imagine Bob filling in for the Musers and being forced to do that. Unfair to those guys regardless of their talent level.
