Corby's Sooner segment was a miss, but other than that, great morning. I was on the treadmill during Van's segment and almost had to bail out when he listed all the condom synonyms.

Monty is very very good with Corby, Gordon, and Donovan. He adds a lot. Wish they would use him more with the A level guys. (yes I know, radio is dying, and he is very unhealthy)

I think Work In Progress has really come a long way. Monty and DJ are great together and Ham is a character that happens to somehow survive in real life.

Yeah I think they do a good job together. Hope Monty pulls thru obviously to continue loving life but also so that he can continue to do this. I have to admit I thought he was terrible initially when he began but he has grown on me. He's got Gordo/dan vibes... Lots of comedic potential (even though he is an Aggie hater). We have to face the music that the muser will leave us one day and I think Monty is one with the potentials to take the reigns

Absolutely, but I believe the ticket wanted to honor longevity more than anything. Especially in the case of Sean Bass.DannyDuberstein said:

Monty is the best on their bench right now by a long shot. And he's better than 4-5 current hosts in my opinion and fits in way more with the ticket days of the 2008-2014 era than the others.
Yea it's insane how much better Monty is even on interviews than most of the new hosts. He is quick witted and can carry on banter with anyone, unlike a lot of the guys. He is basically the new Sirois, where he can fit in with anyone and is clearly the most talented guy on the bench and more talented than many of the hosts (he's not as good as Sirois in my opinion, but he's still in the same spot).
This landry guy is the best they can pull from the outside?
it's been said before, but i think the bigger factor with monty (forgive the pun) is that he's a health liability and not a guy who you want representing you out on remotes. nothing to prove that....just my opinion.DannyDuberstein said:

and like y'all, i think he's their best non-host (and obviously head and shoulders above mino and sean despite being in a wheelchair)
