The hard part is a big chunk of good Rotten Radio includes Dan, Jake, Rhynes, Sirois etc. which they can't/wont play. It would just be a mix of past Musers segments (still better than dry dock) and Bass/McClearin/Mino from the past two years.

They both look old but I love that it seems their radio stunt for ratings did render those two at least being on speaking terms again. They really were great in their heyday.

Joe Cook is a bum. There are VERY few people in CFB whose opinion I value less... and that's saying something!

Matt and Donnie yesterday talking about the Saban comment on tu just showed how out of touch they are with CFB. No one thinks tu is coming in to "run" the SEC in the field. People are saying tu power players may think they're coming in to run the conference at a political level, but that is not going to happen.

They both were saying "tu wasn't that great in the Big 12 why would they think they're going to run the SEC?"

I heard Sankey's interview and it sounded to me like there was a plan dating back to 2015 to bring in tu and OU to the SEC in 2025 or 2026. He presented this plan to all school presidents. For us that was several presidents ago. He said then covid happened and it accelerated the timeline. I would assume he told the presidents the time to act is now and had some big but fake numbers in his pitch to soothe everyone over. He did make a comment that some rivalries dont care about money and the future which sounded to me like we said "this is BS, we dont want them in the league regardless of money" but it was a moot point. I will say, I think our leadership got on board but did not inform Bjork for whatever reason.

i don't feel this way whatsoever, and i think it's looking at realignment through a 2013 lens. in the 12 years since we joined the sec, the conference landscape has dramatically changed, and the sec had to choose to be proactive or reactive.

it's likely just a matter of time until the b1g or the sec poaches the remaining big boys from the acc (and the big 12 to a lesser extent).

That is exactly what Sankey said about adding tu and OU and about holding off on expansion right now for both the SEC and BIG. He knows its a matter or time but dust needs to settle.
