The Picks with Friends bet payout this year seems very very lame. Gordo's segments regarding the Nevada brothels this morning made me realize that they had a great opportunity for a bet payout. Why not have the loser have to go to a Nevada brothel and get a girl for an hour and then just interview the girl. If the brothel and the girl were up for it, that would be amazing radio. And the loser of the bet would be extremely uncomfortable the entre time, which makes it a great bet payout.
Maybe the radio station management would be against doing something like the above. But with the Super Bowl in Vegas, there is a ton of stuff that they could have come up with that's better than one of them being a street performer in Victory Plaza for 4 hours.

I didn't listen to one pick with friends segment this year and it was must listen for me in the past. Without Dan, Jake, and Blake, the creativity behind that bit is gone. I assumed that was going to be the case and based on what you've said, that has turned out to be true.

Yea the segment was definitely not as good this year. Donovan leading the segment instead of Dan was a big downgrade. And replacing Dan/jake with Matt and mino obviously was a downgrade.
It was still a decent segment but nowhere near as fun as the last free years. And part of that was because the bet payout was so dumb.

I feel like I've seen this exact post this time every year for the last 19 years.
