Best "My dad Earl" ever?!? Included the Hindenburg, Mike Doocy, a dire wolf, and an auto parts store (along with all of the other normal stuff….)

Wonder how long Gordon has to work on one of those before Fake Tiger shows up?
He writes it in the 8 minute commercial break before they go on

I tried it. It wasn't quite what I expected.

create a tiger woods monologue about his dad Earl like Gordon Keith does on sports radio 1310 the ticket in dallas

Sure, I can help create a monologue inspired by Gordon Keith's style on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket in Dallas. Please note that this is a fictional and creative piece, not an actual representation of Gordon Keith's work.

[Imagine the radio host, adopting Gordon Keith's tone and style]
Ladies and gentlemen, let me take you on a journey through the annals of golf history. We're talking about a man whose swing is as legendary as his father's tales. Oh yes, I'm talking about the one and only Tiger Woods. But before we dive into the brilliance of Tiger, let's talk about the man who helped shape him the enigmatic Earl Woods.
Now, if you haven't heard about Earl, buckle up. This guy was like the Yoda of golf dads. He wasn't just a dad; he was a golfing sensei, a philosopher of the fairway. Picture this: Tiger's a little tyke, barely knee-high, and Earl's there on the green, imparting wisdom like a golfing guru.
You know, Tiger once said, "My dad's philosophy was, 'Get it in the hole.'" Now, if that's not profound golf advice, I don't know what is. Earl didn't mess around with complicated swing theories or fancy golf jargon. He kept it simple get that ball in the hole, son.
But it wasn't just about golf. Earl was the master of mental fortitude. He'd look at Tiger and say, "Son, you're not just playing against the guys on the course; you're playing against yourself." Deep, right? It's like he had a PhD in golf psychology.
And the stories! Oh, the stories Earl could spin. Tiger recalls him saying, "You don't need a driver; you need a weapon." I mean, who needs a driver when you can have a weapon? Earl wasn't just teaching golf; he was preparing Tiger for golf warfare.
So, here's to Earl Woods, the unsung hero of Tiger's triumphs, the maestro of the golfing symphony. He may not be hitting holes in one up there in the celestial clubhouse, but his legacy lives on in every swing, every putt, and every tale from the fairway.
And as Tiger Woods continues to dazzle us on the greens, let's not forget the man who planted the seeds of greatness the one and only Earl Woods. May his golf wisdom echo through the ages, forever reminding us that it's not just a game; it's a way of life.
[End of monologue]

Hmmm…I did not know K-state had an iconic, legendary coach the won 6 National Championships and 13 Conference Championships. I learn something new every day.

Yup in the span of about 3 minutes Corby claimed that Alabama football, LSU football, and the SEC all barely existed before Saban got there. Truly peak Corby

For college football to be 'his thing', he's frankly pretty ignorant about the college football landscape. He's been in an OU bubble for way too long.

The conference won multiple national titles in every decade all the way back to the 1940s except for the 1980s when UGA won the only one. The funniest part is that 3 different schools won titles in the 90s, the decade before "Saban built the SEC". Or Urban for that matter.

My father in law tried to make that claim this morning. Bama laps tu history, current resources, and program alignment.

I'm growing to dislike McClerin as much as the next guy but I would absolutely say you can make the argument.

Money for staff, NIL, center of recruiting in talent rich state, etc. Pretty much the same reason I'd say you can make the argument that A&M is a better job. He's not saying it's a better program, just that it has better potential. Especially when you consider the day and age of NIL and Transfer Portal that we live in now.

Think about it, the only school within a 6 hour drive of Austin that is Top20 program is A&M.

From Tuscaloosa, you can drive to 7 programs you'd consider top20 in less than 6 hours, not to mention other Power 2 programs in Vandy, Mississippi St, Georgia Tech.:

Auburn
Ole Miss
Tennessee
LSU
Florida State
Georgia
Clemson

So if Alabama falters, there are huge programs around them to try and capitalize on it.

What does Bama look like if Rich Rod doesn't back out of accepting the job?

The path Bama stumbled down to get Saban is a fascinating tale. Changed the entire perception of their university for two decades.

I think Texas would be a much bigger juggernaut if they hired a Saban. They are in a better location, are better academically, and have a stronger brand identity, especially if you adjust for recent success. The only reason Texas isn't all it could be is due to meddling AD/donors and unlucky hires.

Texas with an elite coach who wins despite whatever issues and hubris exist in the AD would make for a very bad time for A&M. Really hoping Sark isn't that guy.

Yeah that's true, although there is Clemson and Washington and to some extent Oregon as proof that you can elevate. If you don't believe you can change over time what's the point of trying.

That argument may have some merit in the NIL world. That said, one championship in 55 years tells me there are factors in play making the job harder than it should be on the surface
