It's not like he brought the family to Arizona. It's actually a break to be kind of an irresponsible idiot for a few days. That's partly why guys like Jub have always been so great in these trips even when his kids were young, dude lets his Glen Campbell hair down.

He and his wife have a 4 yr old at home plus an 8 month (?) old who just had surgery on his SKULL but, sure, he's super lame for not going crazy on super bowl trip because what everyone wants is their wife calling for (any reason) and "oh sorry baby but I've been day drinking with Jub so you're on your own"

I don't get this argument.
I've got 3 kids. One of them had open heart surgery. I don't know why that would affect my drinking if I was on a week long business trip? Hell part of his job is to get funny stories.
He does seem to have calmed down, but not sure I'd blame that on the kids.
Maybe he's just turning into some old ****.
I think he's still worried about doing something that would put his career at risk. While he has been a host for a while and is their only young host, he doesn't have the clout that George has. He has way more to risk by going on air drunk than Jub.
I wish we were getting more wild a$$ jake, but I get it from his perspective.
