"Bus person" is such a perfect term for all of this.
I've done 14 hours in coach internationally as my longest stretch in tight conditions. It wasn't miserable but I think I'd enjoy 22 hours on a Greyhound more. Those 14 hours were cramped and boring as hell.
At least there's stops to stretch your legs and scenery change. I'm a big scenery change person as it charges me up and kind of checks milestones.
I would just suck up the fact I wasn't going to get good sleep and take the quick naps where I could get them.
