Did anyone listen to the Brian Davis interview about the longhorns? Is he supposed to be the best writer? That was one of the most biased interview I've ever heard from a reporter. All he did was try to spin this whole qb fiasco and State of the athletic program

I thought he was very biased.

He speculated Sark just told the two qbs right before the release and wanted to get ahead of it to control the narrative ignoring the fact that Ewers tweeted on Tuesday that there was big news coming on the 19th

He thought everyone's sources saying it was Card came from one open practice on Wednesday where Ewers struggled mightily. Ignoring multiple sites and publications "sources".

Claimed the Longhorn sexy brand will never go away and that the SEC is wanting them in the conference as fast as possible to join the "sexiest brand in football" with the "sexiest conference".

Made fun of the Aggies for thinking the donors pulled this move off

I'm not saying he should have come in and blasted the longhorns or have a negative slant on stuff. But he went out of his way to spin everything that went down over the past month as a positive for the program including praising Sark for trying to control the narrative for how the announcement went down

He came across as a fan and not a journalist

He wants to keep his access.

Mike Finger with the SA Express-News is probably the best sip journalist if you want to follow someone, not afraid to throw them under the bus when warranted and stays pretty objective.
