I rarely listen, but enjoy this thread.

Dan's infatuation with blaming Covid, every time he's not feeling 100% is becoming pretty funny.

Before Covid, we all had days we didnt feel good throughout the year. He's even mentioned that he used to get sick fairly often before Covid. But now, anytime he's not feeling good, he blames it on Covid.

No, why would I get offended that you don't care for someone? It makes no impact on me whether someone else listens or not. Makes no sense, but keep thinking you are living rent-free in my head if it makes you feel better.

FILING A JUNIOR MILLER COMPLAINT FROM TODAY:

A man who supposedly comments on sports for a living including MLB just learned who Joey Votto was last night.

Votto has a lifetime .298 average, 6 All Star games, and a NL MVP. In addition, anyone who follows the game to any degree has likely heard a story about what a great person Votto is.

Shouldn't be surprised…

I don't expect any Baseball knowledge from anyone on The Ticket.

Junior knows all of these random cyclists, but doesn't know who a future Hall of Famer is

In Junior's defense I think he said something like "I'm aware of his career" (as in, he exists and I know the name) but he definitely had no idea how solid his numbers were.

Like anyone could even know that

At the end of the day, my goal was not to embarrass myself or A&M.

The studio visit was a birthday surprise from my wife (one of many....you know what I mean). Had a brief tour of the spaces before heading to the studio.

When we arrived, Dan said that they tell people they can stick around for a segment, but we could stick around as long as we wanted. I didn't have s to do, so we stayed the entire show. Laughed more than I care to admit.

I get not liking some of the hosts/people, but I've always been partial to the HZ (and its predecessor). Dan, Jake, and frankly the entire crew were incredibly gracious and welcoming. No offense to Sirois, but the entire show felt like 'team having fun.'

My biggest takeaway was what a former ticket employee told me a few months ago; Dan is really one of the MVPs of the ticket, outside of Gordo perhaps. He can work with any of the other ticket personalities, and it's gonna be good radio. Not sure you can say that about most of the others. No offense to Bob, who is great, but Bob has always been a guy who works well by himself (and still good with others).
