or maybe it's because the nfl has always tried to appeal to the widest base possible (bruno mars, jt, katy perry). i think snoop said that hip hop was the biggest music genre in the world, pop far exceeds it. excited to watch this was nonetheless.

I enjoyed the Parsons interview.

He went on an on about reppin your home State, and your local school. How much all that means to lift up your home, etc. He also said that no matter what, his son will play at PSU. But he's also the same guy who opted out of the 2020 season to keep himself fresh for the NFL Draft, leaving his team high and dry.

Seems like a good dude, and was a good interview. That disconnect made me chuckle though.

I've talked to Emmitt twice in my life. Once in the Marriott lobby in Bristol, Connecticut. He was doing ESPN stuff then. The second was at Kyle when his son visited. Both times I yelled Go Gators at him. And both times he turned and said Yes, sir!

So, we are besties at this point, I think.

Saw him at dfw airport 5-7 years ago as I was arriving or my flight and he was departing the terminal. No one in the terminal noticed him, but when I did, he held his finger up to his hand to tell me to not say a word as to avoid attention.

So. Worst guy ever.
