Discussion was...Danny hired a kid from his neighborhood to cut his grass. His girlfriend didn't have cash so she left him a check for $15 and told him to just fill in his name. Brother of the kid knocked on his door next day saying the bank told them the check was stolen and the security guard tore it up at the bank because the 11yr old didn't have an id. They were talking about what would everyone do? Go talk to someone at the bank? Let it go? (Danny gave him cash) Was the kid treated unfairly because he was black? Etc

thanks. like i said i didn't hear the entire thing but thought it was odd they'd go on air to a giant audience based on the word of an 11 year old without taking 5 minutes to reach out to the bank.

i mean, i can absolutely believe the hardline went to air with an unverified story from an 11 year old, but it doesn't make it wise.

I would think the kid being black didn't play into it at all. I didn't ever try to cash any checks when I was 11, I don't even think I had any written out to me. If I did get checks, they were technically written to my parents.

In the moment I would for sure have either called the bank, or if it was close by I might have driven up.
I also might ask my girlfriend why she thought a check to an 11 year old was a good idea.

I might then self-reflect why I hired a kid to mow the grass, but didn't leave cash for him.

Holy **** if this story happened at all there is no way it happened that way. A security guard would not handle any check at a bank, the teller would confiscate it if suspected of fraud. Or the teller politely explains to the 11 year old to go get his/her parents or guardian with an ID and they will cash it but until then they cannot.

And how dumb is his girlfriend to cut a ****ing check to an 11 year old??? There is no way that kid could have ever cash it. The real story here is Danny's chick tried to rip off a black kid and the kid called her on it.

And another thing, it's not racist to refuse to cash a check on someone's account due to no ID. It's called fiduciary responsibility.

i kept staring at the radio with a wtf look waiting on a level head like bob to hit the breaks some but he just helped press the accelerator.

this is my issue with the liberal mindset. they took the word of an 11 year old (complete with white security guard ripping up a check in his face like a scene out of a movie) without confirming anything with an actual adult or bank employee.

why? because they need the story to be true. otherwise they can't virtue signal over the airwaves how anti-racism they are.

i sincerely hope it's not true for the kid's sake. but if they don't follow up on this i really am done with this garbage. i've had my fill of race hoaxes for several lifetimes.
