They never even addressed the new greggo news did they.

I think they made a very vague reference to it one day. They were playing a clip where someone had some sort of flub and the comment "Maybe he changed anti-depressants" was made.

That is what Greggo told Richie Whitt why he sounded so out of it on air, because he had recently changed anti-depressants.

What was the final score? Last I saw it was Musers up 17-13 in the 7th.

WOW! Team Hardline came back??? The last I heard...it was 17-4.

I tuned in from time to time...the funniest thing I heard was Grubes after his double and came around to score he said, "I hit a double tonight" (mocking Rhynes 3-point drop). After Grubes scored, Norm said "Well, I guess Grubes can say he scored tonight."

Listening to Corby defend their tricked-up batting order to tie things up only confirms the Muser's stance. The Hardline rigged it.....

Junior sounds like a middle school cry baby (in regards to talking about the end of the game).

I like Craig, for the most part, but that was a HUGE bag of Waaahh this morning ... Good grief, dude -- it's a charity game! Just like George said, "It's not like the Yankees were going to come out and scout you or something ... "

The name of the game is entertainment, and Corby was right to want to jazz things up a bit when the rout was on.

It was supposed to be a 7-inning game but was tied...based on the crowd response, they played an extra inning. We had passed the three hour mark, people were leaving, the guys were tired, so they made the decision that inning 8 was it regardless of score.

I like listening to the Musers, but Junior Miller just emanates "real life dooooshbag". Probably explains why it took him until his 40s to find a woman willing to put up with his ass.

Junior is mad that:

1. Bacsik pitched two innings for the Hard Line, and

2. The Hard Line batted out of order.

Nevermind that when I was listening last night it sounded like his own bad play at short allowed a run in the last inning. I think he believes people come out to actually watch a competition.

Newsflash Junior: you're all terrible athletes. The competition doesn't matter.

Junior needs to suck it up. He's taken this way too far. What was supposed to be a fun event has now turned into a giant cluster-f.

I have thought this as well for a long time. He seems like a huge elitist to me. If people don't conform to the way he thinks things should be, he berates them, whines about it, or both.

Now, I will freely admit I've never met the guy or talked to him one-on-one, so I may be really missing the mark. However, this is the personality he portrays on the air.

I guess I might be in the minority because I really like Junior. I like his weird sense of humor and I usually like his sports opinions.

Junior might have been taking the events of last night a little too far....but I probably would have been pissed too if I had been in the same situation. It sounded like Junior was most upset at himself for playing poorly...but the actions of Bascik and Team Hardline just made things more frustrating.

I guess I have a like-dislike position on him. I agree that he can be genuinely funny and makes good sports points, but I get the sneaking suspicion I wouldn't be friends with him in "real life".

Of course, that's just my 2 cents (which probably isn't even worth that much).

Also, Jub seems like good people to me and they've been friends since college, so he probably isn't as bad as I've interpreted him to be.

I've met Junior Miller a couple of times and have even seen him at Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas. He's always been approachable and likeable. Yeah, he sometimes comes off weird, persona-wise, on the air, but overall, I like him. Sounds like he was piiiissed about last night, and he needs to let it go.

I parked Junior's car once when I was a valet. As I brought it back after dinner, I said real briefly "Thanks Craig. Hey, I'm a big fan." And he gets a sheepish, almost embarrassed look on his face. It was very awkward, no "thanks man" or follow up.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I imagine he gets approached often and he would be used to it, and more casual now. That didn't seem to be the case...

I think Junior is just kind of a shy guy with nerdiness tendencies. He has by far the best sports takes on The Musers. They've played sound bites of him MCing stuff from his high school and you can tell he's just not a natural off the cuff guy. I didn't listen after 7:30 this morning but it sounds like he just got revved about the game for no apparent reason and should just let it go.

My only personal interaction with him was I saw him hanging out at the rooftop at Reata with his wife one night. They sat not too far away from us during dinner and nothing stood out. Just seems like a normal dude. I think he's probably got some metro tendencies but that doesn't make him a bad person.

I'm sure everyone would love to hang out with most of those guys and grab a beer. As much as I don't like Corby's new role on The Hardline I don't think he's a bad person at all.

Ive run across most of the guys out in public several times. Craig is kind of shy but is more than happy to talk sports with you if you bring it up. George is probably the nicest of the guys sans Norm. Gordon used to be a jerk but has lightened up over the years.Rhyner(i know he is dead) will always throw ticket shtick at you if you say something to him.

My only run ins with them include:
On the rooftop on the Beagle and seeing Gordon walk down the street. I yelled louder than I thought, "The great Gordo!" He yelled back, "What's up guys!"

At a Desparados game when George and Greggo did the radio. I got in line behind Greggo getting icecream and no joke, he roboted out, "I'd like one vanilla please."

I was at the Fort Worth Zoo and saw Corby there standing in the Texas section talking to a group of people. Didn't recognize him until i heard him.

so no one caught the 12:35 letter for the scramble?

and gordo made a comment during the orphanage last week that led me to believe he lives in the south arlington area...wonder where (you know, so i can stalk him).

Gordo used to live about 6 blocks from me. He was a die hard east dallas guy or so he would lead you to believe. We had a mutual friend on the block.

He has three houses within three blocks down there and rents only one of them out. He left his last house with a big $$$ playset and all sorts of kids toys strewn about the lawn. The property tax bill he pays is probably in the 25k range for his four homes.

He moved to preston hollow about 2 years ago. This was about 3 months into his TV show gig.

It was always weird seeing him sitting in the front window tapping away on his computer at nights when I'd walk or ride by.

Gordon has joked that he lives in an apartment in Arlington for as long as I can remember. Goes right along with referring to his wife as his girlfriend. Those are both long-time defaults that occasionally pop up.

I was at the landing the other night, and mid-piss realized danny was outside the door. (thought the orphanage was on @ 1a.m.)

walked out and saw him, but didn't want to be the tool who started a drunk bar conversation with someone cause i recognized their radio voice... is that wrong of me?
