I'm getting together with some friends for lunch on Saturday. Looking for something in the Bryant Irvin/I-20 area. Any recommendations? I don't even know what is down there other than the Fox & Hound.

Razoos or Cousin's BBQ. There's a lot to choose from, but they are almost all chains.

Cousins is good, and is a little bit south of the I-20/Bryant Irvin intersection (on Bryant Irvin).

There's also a Mexican restaurant in the Academy shopping center that isn't awful, though I've only been there once. Bonnell's is good, but it might be a bit upscale for a Saturday lunch. I'd say Cousin's is your best bet, unless you feel like hitting Saltgrass or another chain.

go to the new Kincaid's off of Overton Ridge.

Take Overton Ridge East from Bryant Irvin and Kincaid's is in the corner of the shopping center south of Hulen Mall.

You are very welcome.

Lone Star Oyster Bar is over there too. That is a good "big party" place.

Oh you can stop by and say hi, I haven't seen you in a while!

I like Rio Mambo (mmmmmm brisket quesadillas, the mexican restaurant by academy) and Lone Star Oyster Bar is pretty good.

On Hulen and the access roads there are a ton of restaurants like chili's and *gasp Olive Garden. Mimi's is alright.

There is supposed to be a good italian restaruant an the corner of Hulen and Granbury.

I'll give the thumbs up to Rio Mambo -- one of the better mexican food joints in town.

Other than Bonnell's and perhaps a couple of others that I can't recall, Cityview is packed with chains. It makes for good selection but it is hard to find anything unique.

My favorites around there are The Keg and Rio Mambo (a rip-off of Mi Cocina, but pretty good).
