Going to see the Rangers play BOS next Friday. I no longer live in the area and haven't been since the new park opened and it's been years since I moved away. What's the best place to park for a game? Or best place to get a parking pass? I appreciate any help!

Recently went through this when my teen went to a game with friends. From my experience, it seems like your best bet is to just drive up and pay at the lot when you get there.

I tried buying a parking ticket through Vivid seats the day of so she wouldn't have to worry about it and would be close to the field. They sent me multiple emails, but never sent the email to transfer/access the ticket. After two unsuccessful chat attempts and one unsuccessful phone call attempt I gave up. She tried to use the receipt email and it, as expected, did not work. She was able to just pay to park in that same lot.

Ironically, the drive up charge to park in the lot next to the stadium (B or M iirc) was $30. After fees and crap I paid $102 and change for the ticket I never received. Stupid, I know, but I haven't personally been to the new field either and had no clue on parking prices nor did I find them listed anywhere online.

I went to a game recently and the attendance was so low that parking was not a problem at all. $15 for something on the far side of Holtz Lake. It worked well.

Forgot to add that part, doubt it will be particularly crowded since they have been tanking for years and I think they have alienated most fans. Game, even in a Friday, shouldn't be crowded.

My first choice if I get to the park early enough is the lot that is part of the Arlington Convention Center.

I used to park in a lot that was between the Sheraton (?) hotel and I-30 feeder/service road. I don't think that is a public lot any more (maybe an employee/service lot). I didn't mind the long walk distance, it was relatively cheap because of that distance.

Well, I park in my numbered season ticket spot, but.....

StubHub is a great place to buy parking passes for cheap.

Parking Passes

You can get them here from $15-35 I believe it is. I don't know how the 3rd party sites pricing compares.

Will probably be a little more crowded than usual since the Red Sox are playing. I'd expect the same if the Yankees were in town. Cult following.

What a good dude.

When I've gone, I typically park in the Six Flags lot closest to the old stadium. I have noticed that the parking rate fluctuates with the game and sometimes even on the same day. As low as $20 all the way to $80.

When I go I often park in the back of the On the Border and walk. It's about a mile, but there's no fighting the stadium parking traffic when the game is over - you park for free then can head right out.

I was going to recommend buying a Lexus and then you get a free parking spot....

We went to the Astros matinee game a couple of weeks ago. As we were taking my 72yo mother, I wanted to be as close as possible. Bought a $50 parking space in Lot A. Probably one of the more convenient spots at a major stadium I've had.

If available and reasonable, this was easy as it gets.

The Lexus Lot is awesome. Free parking for Lexus drivers (with the sticker from Sewell or Park Place) directly across Stadium Dr from the Southeast Entrance to the Ballpark. Arlington PD sets up a crosswalk at the lot entrance.

I would not recommend the Stadium Parking at 805 Stadium Dr for any big game. Great location across the street from the Northeast Entrance, but terrible post-game traffic. We had a tailgate with a church group there for the Saturday Braves game, and it took over 1 hour after the end of the game for the line of cars exiting the lot to clear. No one directing traffic since it is a 3rd party lot.

I am going to the game in a couple of weeks. So you can park in back of On The Border? They don't care?

I talked to a manager about it twice in the last 5-6 years. Both times they didn't care. There's lots of parking around back that's never full, and it's just far enough that it doesn't get a ton of people trying to park there.

But, I haven't parked there this year, so try it at your own risk!
