Board is acting like cowards letting Dr. Stone run the show.

it does note that some students are staff are high-risk but it doesn't describe what that means or how many/what percentage of the student + staff population. just "some"Quote:
NOT ONE METRIC RELATES TO COVID IN SCHOOLS.

The policy and highlighting 'high-risk' staff and students implies masking helps prevent infections. But we know - we KNOW - the efficacy of masks in schools is highly questionable. The 'masks required' policy provides a false sense of security that putting masks on students and staff makes things safe for anyone 'high-risk'. That is extremely irresponsible and borders on malpractice.tysker said:it does note that some students are staff are high-risk but it doesn't describe what that means or how many/what percentage of the student + staff population. just "some"Quote:

Well looks like they will still be required at elementary schools

Why should I have to put my elementary aged kids through that? Why won't the grownups make a decision on what's best for the kids vs. pandering to the irrational fears of adults.
95% of elementary campuses haves 2 cases of covid or less. 68% have 0.
Unvaccinated elementary aged kids have a lower hospitalization rate than vaccinated adults over 40.
This is beyond ridiculous. I'm done with this district.
I have 2 at Pearce and none of this has been a big deal.AggieLostinDallas said:harge57 said:
