Nates in Addison. No question about it.
I thought Tasty Tails was horrible. No offense and I'm not racist but the Asians can't do Cajun.Quote:
We haven't had a ton of time to go out and find good stuff but Tasty tails (belt line and 75) is decent.
Doesn't Tasty Tails do the same thing?Quote:
I've never gotten the Nates love. They don't season their boil and just dump a boatload of Tony Chachere's on top. Every time I've had their bugs they're overcooked and tough as nails with no flavor.
Tasty Tails FTW.
Tasty tails is cooked in a seasoned boil. You can also get w/'who dat sauce", which is a spicy garlic butter. I get extra spicy sauce on the side but the crawfish is their regular boil - no sauce in a bag west coast/vietnamese style.PlanoAg98 said:Doesn't Tasty Tails do the same thing?Quote:

Yes, this is what I experienced with respect to the boil and seasoning.Adam Ag 98 said:

I just park next door at Spring Creek and walk. Their prices are high now but in a month or two when we hit peak season, they get as low as $3.95/lbmattmb917 said:
We tried Nate's for the first time last weekend. Neither of us got crawfish seeing it was $9/Lb. I get that prices are a little more here but we couldn't justify that! I will say the etouffee was pretty good and I liked the atmosphere of the place. We'd go back again but I'll still say nothing comes close to true Louisiana cooking.
Oh, and their valet service was slow and crowded...I can't get started on that.
