My family are all convening for the week of Christmas at my parents house in the metroplex. Where are some good Christmas lighting displays? We went to the Arlington interlochen a few years ago. I know about the Joe Pool Lake Christmas lights and heard some areas of Highland Park. Any other areas worth the drive to see? Thanks.

Farmers Branch has a pretty decent display. It starts near the Stars Dr. Pepper Center at I35 and Valley View. Then, from there you should definitely head to Virtruvian Park in Addison!

We went thru Deerfield neighborhood in north Plano last year and that was actually pretty good. Better have GPS in your car. That sub-division is a maze.

How is the Texas World Speedway display?

12 days of Christmas in Lake Highlands

We have been to Deerfield this year and it is not near as good as normal. Light displays probably down 30%. And the big "music light show" house by the community pool/gathering area is not doing it this year. Don't know if they moved, or what.

We live in Interlochen and the lights are really great this year! It is our first year here, moved from East Texas, so it will take a few years to catch up with everyone
