My younger brother (Ag as well)is looking to get back to Dallas so I thought would see if any of you guys might have some pointers for his type of background.
He will be leaving the Navy around January (currently in DC/Baltimore) after 7 years of service. Two of them learning Mandarin Chinese at the Defense Language Institute in Monterrey, CA. The past 3 years stationed at Fort Meade working at the NSA as a Network Vulnerability Analyst and is seeking opportunities that may match his skill set back here in Texas.
His current position includes penetration testing of Department of Defense Networks, preparing vulnerability/mitigation reports, briefing high-level commanders, and training new operators. He has a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter Intelligence Polygraph. Currently hold Network+ and Security+ computer certifications and will have CCNA and CISSP by the time he gets out of the Navy in mid-January. Very familiar with Windows Operating Systems, Linux/Unix, Cisco Routers/Switches along w/ Penetration Testing tools (Nmap/wireshark/ethereal/netcat, etc), Data Mining, Open Source Research, and DOD Information Assurance Regulations.
Thanks for any suggestions!
