Both Golden Bear and The Practice Tee are good spots. I've been to both numerous times.

btw, that PGA championship was won by Walter Hagen who is 3rd on the all-time majors list behind Jack and Tiger. Also, he basically had to win all his majors with technically only 3 per year being counted (at least by "modern" measure) since his heyday was before the Masters existed.

a little Cliff Clavin for you.

By the way Cedar Crest is actually a really nice set up. Good course, great pro shop. My friends and I play there more than just about any course. Also it is close to Wingfields if you are looking for the best burger in the entire metroplex.

Went today and they have a thing where you can buy 9 large buckets for $50 and get 3 free.... so it avges out to less than $5 per bucket for 12 total.

Figured I'd end up using these as I'm a beginner learning on the range
