Need a recommendation for a sushi restaurant in Frisco/Plano. I'm by no means a sushi aficionado, but I know what bad sushi tastes like and would prefer to avoid that. Trying to keep it price friendly so we can make a few trips vs. one very expensive single trip a month.

Any ideas?

Sake Toro is very good; my wife and I go there often. It's in the Frisco square development off the tollroad and main street. Sit at the Sushi bar if there is room; the guy who owns the place and makes most of the sushi is a cool guy to talk to!

I remember someone previously recommending Jinbeh in Frisco and they have good specials, I think half price Tuesday and $1 sushi Friday. I have yet to go. Can anyone confirm specials and quality at Jinbeh?

Sushi Envy is a decent place to go to be able to try several different rolls (or portions of rolls)

Chaucers???? It must have gotten ALOT better than the last time I was there. I worked in the building and couldn't bring myself to eat there.

Fujiyama on Frankford/Midway is the best sushi I've ever eaten anywhere. Rolls are twice the size of most places and delicious.
