Our kitchen remodel (+) is done. The + is we decided to do the tile in our living room and dining room, too.
Here's what we started with:

Pretty classic 1980s style. Early in the process we had a pretty significant failure:

It's a steel frame construction house. Turns out the builder used aluminum 2"x4"s everywhere. Even when the span dictated something bigger. It's a one story house so the entire ceiling above the kitchen and dining room ended up being removed and rebuilt. The structural engineer said the length of the kitchen and dining room combined dictated 2"x18" beams and 2"x6"s across. It's rock solid now. Luckily this happened really early in the process.

Like I said, we replaced the tile in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and utility room. Removing all that tile created more dust then I have ever seen in my whole life. We're still cleaning it up in places.

The end result is pretty awesome. We're very happy with the way it all came out. It was more than expected (all the tile and rebuilding the dining room/kitchen ceiling added a bit) and took a month longer than originally projected (which considering everything isn't a bad deal). It's like we have a brand new house and we didn't have to move.
Super impressed with TA Todd and all their subcontractors. Great tile, mechanical (Casa Mechanical is my new AC company), plumbing, paint, and custom cabinets. Really couldn't be happier with the outcome and can say we'd recommend TA Todd to anyone considering a remodel.
