My girlfriend and I will be in Austin this weekend to see family. Wanted to know the best place to watch the game. Farthest we'd probably go is Buda or Drip and probably nothing past downtown Austin. Thanks and Gig'em!

So OP where did you end up?

I ended up at LP East. Cool bar and lots of Aggies. Just didn't get there early enough to get a good seat so me and my girlfriend had to sit in the sun. Was pretty hot so we left early. Next time I'll just get there a little earlier, great drinks and food and a nice staff though.

Curious if the watch party at Cork & Barrel has a lot of kids or not. Does anyone know?

Do they have plenty of TV's? Is it all outdoor seating? Going to be there Saturday for Austin Record Convention and looks like it's only 20 minutes away.

They have 3 TVs outside. About 4 tables kinda in the shade facing the outside TVs. 4 smaller TVs inside. It was super hot when we were there but that was middle of September. Weather should be a lot better. But it was a cool spot with good food and drinks. Just wish it was slightly bigger and more seating inside. I would get there earlier than we did if you do go. (We got there 20 minutes before game time). Hope this helps.

The pictures online make it seem like the TVs outside are pretty tiny - do they have any big screens set up for games?

They're not that big. I'd say average size TVs

Doesn't look like the LP I went to. The one we went to was LP East. That place looks cooler honestly lol.
