I'm meeting a family member for brunch and spa day in Austin this Saturday, Aug. 31. I see that there's a football game at 2:30. I know Aggieland gets pretty packed and overwhelmed on gamedays, but I'm not sure if Austin's size means it's not as noticeable. We've got reservations, so I'm thinking of parking and heavy traffic slowing down the timetable. Thanks for the help!

It might help to give folks a location for the lunch.

5th runs from Mopac to Ed Blustien. Lots of door fronts!! Address or name of Spa?

Wait, Snooze Eatery? East 5th. Not bad traffic on that side of 35.

I'm no expert but I'd expect just heavy traffic in that area due to just the amount of people coming to the game. Most will want to go to the stadium but you got your brunch crowd before. Reservations?

It's east of 35 about say 5-7 blocks on 5th.

Also south of the river or north up the 183 area would have a lot less people.

Here a snooze on south Lamar. That would be easier

It all worked out well! We could park with ease everywhere we went. We had reservations for our meals/outings and traffic did not seem extraordinarily heavy or congested.
