I'm new to the water quality industry in Austin and wanted to reach out to see if any area home builders have any interest in installing Softners or ROs into homes during the construction process? Please reply or reach out if there is any interest.

When our home here in Bastrop was being built by our builder, Scott Felder Homes, I tried to get those a'holes to simply plumb me a loop outside of the water heater closet in the garage so I could plumb in my on whole-house filtration system. I told them I would pay their plumbers for the extra work. They essentially told me to go pound sand. (rant over)

Wouldn't that void your warranty if they did what you wanted?

Not if they approved it. And, warranty on what?

I recently bought a Perry home in Bastrop, and they included loops in the garage as standard on every house being built in the neighborhood so you could install the system of your choice or have them add it as an option during the finish out. The loop makes a great fishing rod holder...

One more reason (of many) not to purchase a SF home. The framing of my home was like the work of a high school shop class... among other things. I'm in C Riverside.

We looked at the SF homes and saw some of the same things. We are across 969 from you in the new Colony.

Yeah if they approved it; I misunderstood and thought you were trying to do it without their approval using their plumbers. Carry on.
