I typically fly out of San Antonio but I've got a trip out of Austin coming up. Are there best lots to park in for a larger truck, preferably covered?

What about nearby hotels since I have an early flight and a 1.5hr commute.

I use park and zoom. It's on the airport property and pretty handy. Make a reservation though.

There is a hotel on the airport property. A Hyatt or something. Business class. I would call them and ask if you stayed there what they would charge for letting you keep the truck there while you are gone. May make this easy as long as you are not price sensitive.

Fast park is just outside the airport and i have never needed a reservation. Do not use parking spot terrible to get in and out of.

We've done this and worked well. The only draw back is they don't has many shuttles running so if you miss one/full, may be waiting longer than you at park & zoom/fast park etc. We just told them how many extra nights at check in. I feel like it was decent deal.

We always parked at the parking lot East. Was a couple dollars cheaper than the West. Would recommend them. Currently now we are parking at the Easterwood parking lot. Between parking chargers and fuel for a round trip trip to Austin, it makes sense to stay here. Plus if we have a late night flight coming in, it's only a 15 minute drive of the house.

We also like Fast Park.

If speed matters at all, it take me 6-7 minutes to walk from the front door of ABIA to most parts of the ABIA surface lot. Got tired of waiting at Fast Park, etc for a group of 8 to slowly unload while the driver sits and waits for them. If I'm with family and luggage, I'll drop them off.

I just use short term garage right next to terminal. Easy in and out; it's pricey, but so is everything else these days. Think it's $39 a day. The next garage back for a little bit more of a walk is $10 cheaper I think.

How reasonable is it for an 80-mile trip each way?

Can't imagine it's cheaper than parking

Cool, I travel some for work so I have quite a few point built up with them. Plus for $35 they do a good job washing my truck and having it clean when I return.

We used to use Fast Park, but the shuttle service starting being an issue.

Company pays for most of my parking, so I started just parking in the airport garage with no issues.

As a bonus, you can look for the car that the OB is tracking.

It is not cheap. You are paying for the quality of service. Very professional driver. If just the wife and I, it is always a new S class Mercedes. If 3 or 4 couples are going out to dinner, the Mercedes van.

I have used him to drive me to Houston and back. Ridiculously expensive. About the same as chartering a small plane to take you to Houston and back. I had meetings in different parts of town, a dinner, and lots of paperwork to review going there and back.

Used Fast Park since it first opened, had Catalytic Converters cut off my vehicle when parked there - for only 36 hours - back in October.
