Is everyone else's "food" plants toast? My tomatoes gave it a good fight until the last couple of weeks, and even my jalapeno plants have stopped producing (This happened last year, I thought they'd like the high temps). Water them every day. I'm assuming its about time to toss them.

Okra is thriving.

Peppers don't like hot weather, They'll start producing again in the fall.

I wouldn't give up on the jalapeños. They are scrappy. Tomatoes? Mine always said bye by July. Replant when it gets cooler for a second crop

My peppers are just fine, but I have a tree that provides mottled shade over the garden until about 3p.

All my plants (other than peppers) look fantastic. But they aren't producing anything. Very frustrating.

Heat kills the pollen. Except for okra. I think you could okra on the sun.

Most of them need cooler temps at night for the blooms to set. We have a tomato growing in a Vegtrug in the shade of our porch that looks fantastic with tons of blooms, but hasn't put out a fruit in over a month because the nighttime temps have just been too hot.

Same as everyone else. Peppers & tomatoes look great and bloom, but very little fruit in the past several weeks.

Okra on the other hand... Going absolutely crazy. Two plants are as tall as our fence and have a okra ready to pick daily.
