I mostly eat breakfast tacos and my favorite are at La Cocina de Consuelo's. They are larger than a normal taco and the tortillas are excellent.
We have a work project thar requires us to do a deployment and a retrieval trip to Lake Somerville every month. We typically stop at the Taco Stop in Elgin on one day and Taqueria Chihuahua in Giddings the second day. Chihuahua tacos are pretty similar to Connie's.

Carne Guisada tacos pretty good at Bill Miller. Other breakfast tacos good.
Tyson's Tacos are good. Nachos great, good quantity
Paco's Tacos good.

Great question! I live in far south Austin, so driving to San Marcos isn't horrible for me, and I do that occasionally on the weekend to get my fix! The Tesoro de Jordan is a delicious breakfast taco at Fuego

why? we already have Torchys and Velvet which are the same style but better?

valentina's is getting destroyed right now over taking employees tips interested to hear what's true and what's not, if it's what's alleged it's a good reason not to eat there

Bill Miller has become our go to for breakfast tacos in Leander, deliver via Door Dash and they're decent and cheap.

Yea… Torchy's is not great. Why the hell can they not make their own tortillas? Queso is still top tier though.

An ex of mine worked in accounting for Torchy's. They have like 60+ locations now and pretty much focus on competing in the fast-casual chain market now which is why the quality has dropped.
