KXAN camera showed tornado crossing 35 and 45 flyover few minutes ago.

That was crazy af

They reported large tornado at Kalahari/Dell Diamond.

They just showed 35/45 clip again. You can see one of those light poles go down. Also an overturned tractor-trailer on 35. Hope it didn't come off flyover.

My brother in Round Rock said Kalahari has tornado damage.

So if you draw a line from that 35/45 location of the tornado...then to the Kalahari location...if you continue that line 2 more miles you hit my house.

By some quark of fate, that tornado had to have turned east at the kalihari. I wonder if the size of the structure actually affected its path? Regardless, it DID turn east slightly as you can see it travel down the south side of 79. I believe the Red Bud/79 intersection might have been damaged as well...there was police presence there afterwards so I didn't get to close to it. Will have to check it out later today.

I would totally help out except I have to fly out of town in the morning.

From RR Rotary:

"Thanks! Round Rock Neighborhoods is looking for volunteers to help load brush and debris into roll off dumpsters. They are arranging for dumpsters to be delivered. Once they are on scene they'll secure a parking area for everyone and notify us. Having you help with this effort will be most welcomed! Will keep you posted on Dates, Times, and Locations."

Luckily we escaped damage in North RR. The worst storm seemed to have split north and south of us. I was out of town for work, so it wasn't a fun evening for my wife and kids, but all turned out fine.

Kudos to those helping others clean up.

I'm at Greenlawn and 45/Gattis. We got hit pretty hard but nothing compared to just a few houses north of me in my street. The neighborhood looks like a Ukraine war zone. I must have had 250 workers all over the street. No parking it's so full
