Any Cedar Park updates?

Thanks fam!
It was easily drivable where I am in CP, if there are issues it will be on shaded sections of a road or on a bridge. But I had only very issues driving from CP to La Frontera area in RR (avoided toll road which always seems to ice easier than other roads). Pick the clearest lane, stay in the tire tracks on a bridge, no acceleration or braking when crossing over a small patch of ice that is unavoidable.

Thanks. I'll relay to my wife. She will be driving the Korean War Machine, Sorento from RR.

For reasonable, cautious people using common sense - it's no problem.

The problem in these events is always the other drivers on the road. I've seen a good number of accidents near me in past events. I always thought it was "fun" to still drive to work, but after too many close calls due to other drivers I realized I'm not in control of everything that happens out there. So I didn't go out yesterday at all.

South Austin here. Roads were mainly fine although there were some black ice patches that prevented us from leaving our apartment complex (lots of hills in the complex) on Thursday. Stuff was melting by late morning Friday and roads were fine by the afternoon. Only some stairs and shady areas still had dangerous ice by last night.

Think we knew it wouldn't be as bad as last year even if power was in question. We still stocked up because we aren't taking any chances anymore.

I live West of UT campus. The power went out for 40 minutes from 1:45 PM to 2:25 PM on Thursday. After work, I went out for a run on Lamar Blvd and part of Lady Bird Lake. I avoided icy spots and did not slip once.

Well I went to get something out of my car in my combat flip flops and busted my ass on a patch of ice on my porch. Cut up and sprained my big toe. So I have Covid 19 and a little small recovery shoe.
