So Round Rock ISD is having an 11:00 AM School Board Meeting on Monday January 3rd. I wonder why they're having a meeting at 11 o'clock on the first day that staff is back. Not to mention many people are traveling back from their Christmas and New Year's destinations since school doesn't start back until Wednesday.

There's no agenda posted yet. This is the kind of crap that they've been doing lately. Doxing school board members, having meetings when people aren't paying attention, locking parents out of meetings. Their behaviors just completely out of control.

Update:

I have just been informers that:

" It's a meeting not to be missed. I can't say much more. Also, it will most likely be at 2pm on 3 Jan."

-consider TEAs recommendation to sit him down and investigate.

I'd say this one has been TOO active.

He got to be gone right? No way they can keep him at this point.

Plus what happens to the two people that he had arrested.

What a mess.

The board voted tonight to put him on paid admin leave and hire an independent investigator to look into everything going on.

There was no other option. The people that say otherwise are deluded. Even the 5 was a CYA.

Was the vote unanimous?

The vote was 6-1. Two board members did not show up.

So now we are investigating a guy that is also being investigated by the TEA private investigator.

Guy had an affair and admitted as much. That should be enough for a superintendent to not be in charge of kids in my opinion but apparently someone has to find evidence of something worse.

The settlement between the super and the alleged assailant is sealed by a Travis County federal judge so good luck with finding anything out.

There is a civil restraining order between super and accused.

TEA intervened so there must be some smoke somewhere. The TEAs investigation has been ongoing for 4 months. Either way how can the district even consider moving forward with someone that has this hanging out there. My guess is there will be a settlement and both parties will move on.

Finally, and this irks me the most. The same people that were screaming Trust All Women at Brett Kavanaugh are the exact same people defending The Super. This is a joke of a world we live in!

By the way in 2020 Round Rock "fired" (actually he resigned before being fired) Steve FLores the superintendent of the year for 2019 for the entire state. This was because they did not like how he handled Covid. Idiots. https://roundrockchamber.org/dr-steve-flores-to-receive-recognition-from-the-round-rock-city-council-may-13/#:~:text=Rock%20and%20Austin.-,Dr.,successes%20in%20college%20readiness%20rates.
