Does Austin still have that ban on STRs within the city limits? You might be stuck looking at the suburbs or way out at Lake Travis

I have a room available at the end of January at a rental house in Pflugerville. Not a terrible drive to downtown at all. It's an Ag that you'd be replacing.

Airbnb has plenty of good stuff, that's what we used when our remodel didn't complete on time

We stayed at 13th and Chicon which is next to a massive housing project, it wasn't an ideal location but the condo was nice and clean. A few blocks from there is a great area.
