Election Day Is Here!

Today is the Last Day to VOTE in this election - from 7am to 7pm. My message here is focused on Prop. A.

Why We Are FOR Prop. A:

ENSURES ADEQUATE POLICE STAFFING: Requires a minimum of 2.0 police officers per 1,000 population, a nationally recognized standard for safe cities, combined with a minimum of 35% community response time. (Current APD police staffing is 300 to 400 officers short of that, and what it was just a few years ago.)
DOUBLES POLICE TRAINING: Requires an additional 40 hours of post-cadet class training hours per year, making Austin the national model for police training
ENACTS POLICE REFORMS: Includes provisions to boost minority hiring (through foreign language proficiency), ensure racially diverse community policing, and provides retention bonuses for officers without police complaints ("Good Conduct Medal" eligible officers)

Please encourage anyone who hasn't already voted, including your friends and family, to make it to the polls between 7 AM and 7 PM to VOTE FOR PROP. A. Save Austin Now spokespeople believe this election is close. TODAY's voting WILL BE DECISIVE.

Time for the few remaining intelligent people in Austin to leave and let it go completely feral.

Did just that 5 months ago after 30 years in Austin. Never looked in the rear-view mirror driving out Hwy. 71 east-bound.

Classic Austin. Prop B passes with bipartisan support - liberals don't want to look at the homeless and classic NIMBY syndrome.

Now here comes Prop A - increase police budget to make so many things run better (including homeless enforcement), but this time with no NIMBY aspect the Austin liberals are fine virtue signaling and voting down funding the police - the vote was close to the 30/70 split of Republicans and Democrats in this city.

Hilarious mental gymnastics but classic stuff you expect to see from self absorbed virtue signaling liberals.
