Headed back to Austin for Thanksgiving and we want to make sure to hit a bunch of restaurants. Anything new we need to be sure to hit? We're staying over in the Far West/Balcones area. We've been compiling our list. Will need to be family friendly.

Juliet opened a second location in Arboretum

I'd order some plastic fish and turtles off Amazon and go to any number of bbq places that are tier 1 eateries.

I still haven't been to Valentina's.

Need a recommendation for a post church lunch where someone can order a steak. Looking for something more casual, probably 8-10 people, including an infant and a toddler.

We'll be at FUMC and family driving in will be headed back north, so probably north of the river and south Koenig.

Why? So many MUCH better options.

Yes, birthday demand.

Steak + casual, Cover 3 on Anderson and Glorias (Domain or Downtown) could work.

I think we're gonna do Hyde Park B&G but Cover 3 is a good backup.

HPBG is good, it's like a classier chili's my only issue is the carpet. I hate carpet in restaurants. You can smell every food item ever cooked there in the carpet

Usually 1618 or Old Thousand for me. I think there are better places if you want noodles or dumplings specifically.
