I'm in Round Rock. I had ACL surgery 25 years ago. And until about 6 months ago, it's been great. I don't recall any new trauma, but I can no longer bend my leg more than about 45 degrees without serious pain.

Who do you fine people recommend?

Not Brent Brotzman.

Ha. I was going to suggest Brotzman.

He's repaired a couple things on me (Achilles, and torn calf), and done a replacement of a knee replacement, on my fathers knee....as well as an ankle repair for him.

Go see an Airrosti doc before you go back to an ortho. If it's a soft tissue problem, they'll be able to help you restore range of motion, and if it's something more serious they'll refer you out to someone else who can help.

Erik Bruce in RR is very good. I've worked with him a good bit, and took my daughter to see him even.

Did my son's ACL and the zipper on the front of the knee looks like it was from the 70's. Said afterwards that the girls dig big scars. Mom and I were not happy about that. Son was upset too. Has had some residual pain a few years later after playing sports.

That sucks.

I love Dr. Brotzman. He has done wonders for me and my daughter.

Several friends have had various body parts repaired by Mike Burris with great success. I have a similar ACL story (both knees) that bother me from time to time and once I finally go to a doc that's where I'm going. Would have said Carey Windler but I've heard he's retired. I saw him ages ago for a consult and prescribed me some PT that has helped.

Looks like he's near St. David's in North Austin. Probably not too far from you in RR.

Not Frosty Moore.

Kelly Cunningham is meticulous. He worked on my ankle years ago and was able to let me put off the replacement for a few years.

Frosty Moore totally Fd me. Knee replacement in 2015 resulted in permanent nerve damage in my knee and bottom of my foot. Foot I'd partially numb. Knee hurts with minimal activity. My have it redone by a doc in houston in December.

Good advice
