We had to book about 6 weeks out think. I was a little let down.

Damn I thought it was the best meal in Austin by 100 miles. Extremely creative, vegetable forward and it's booking 3 months out right now for a few reasons

1. It's pretty small
2. Tables and set aside for club members and hotel guests
3. The just got write ups Eater, AAS, Texas Monthly and Bon Apetite

We told the waitress we were interested in two specific dishes (1 app and 1 main) and asked her to build our meal around that and every thing we had was awesome. I was most surprised with the grand aoli it's the best vegetable dish I've ever had and I have eaten at alot michelin starred places

I didn't think it was bad. Just tired of Spending $300 and leave hungry because it's all shareable "small plates"

Ha that's actually my preference! I prefer to leave not stuffed, and $300 is what we spent with tip but my wife wasnt drinking. The mock tails they made were pretty good.

We had a reservation at Sammies and her water broke on the way to the restaurant so they are going to reschedule us

Is UNO on 360 still open?

Polvos for hangover Mexican

Eberly for a nice night out without spending a fortune

Toss for wings (pizza is pretty great too)

Polvos breakfast tacos with a side of ranchero sauce

Tried this place tonight. Hot damn! I like a more traditional menu and this was awesome! Kind of like Jeffrey's to me but better

Sammie's is the best Italian in Austin, beats red ash especially if you like traditional.

That said I went with 3 women, we did 3 rounds of martinis and two bottles of wine (100 per) and dessert and after tip we slid in at $830.
Over half was booze (380) + tax($50) + tip ($130) but damn it was good

Caesar and Chicken Parm the best I've had. Truffle mushroom pasta was awesome, branzino was nails

I could have skipped desssert
